These sessions are holistically designed to improve each participant's physical conditioning and basketball skills. Players will sharpen their fundamental basketball technique while mastering the intricate nuances of footwork, body positioning, defensive strategies, and game fitness.

A morning group-based training program that gets players out of bed and builds healthy habits before school. The 9-week coaching and skill development sessions focus on teaching players new skills and drills while providing a competitive environment for players to develop and advance their game.

Training Times: 6:30 am - 7:30 am

  • Refining the specific skills and techniques required for basketball leading to improved performance and efficiency.

  • Educating and encouraging players to strengthen and build on what they learn.

  • Held only during the school term, Rise and Grind offers players more opportunities to gain an edge over their competition by improving their functional fitness, enlarging their endurance, and increasing their capacity.   

  • Smaller group sizes allow for more individualised attention and personal 1:1 coaching for each player.

HOW IT WORKS

Purchase a term pass from our shop by selecting your location and then “Rise and Grind”. From there, you will select the day and location you would like to attend and add to the cart.

Rise early and meet us at
6:30 am on the court with your water bottle, basketball, training shoes and NCB reversible training jersey*

Get ready for a workout and improve your PB (personal best) from the previous week. When you go after your goals, we’ll help you get there.

*NCB Uniforms can be purchased from our NCB Store.

  • No, North Coast Basketball is an independent company that focuses on providing alternative pathways for players to progress their basketball in regional NSW. 

  • Absolutely, our goal is to create more basketball on the days there is none. We want to see players achieve their goals and access development pathways outside of our programs. NCB runs development programs on days that do not conflict with BNSW associations.

  • Yes, we offer family pricing for families with three or more children. All you need to do is email us with the names of your children and the program you wish to enrol them in, and we can make the arrangements.

  • Sure do. Understand that things add up when signing up for everything, so we always try to offer packages for individuals wishing to attend multiple activities. Check our shop page for our latest deals.

  • NCB is based out of Coffs Harbour, NSW, where we run weekly programs. Our coaches run pop-up sessions outside of Coffs Harbour and travel to towns such as:

    • Ballina 

    • Byron Bay

    • Lismore 

    • Port Macquarie 

    • Taree 

    • Yamba
