ELITE & COLLEGE PATHWAYS
IMPROVE AND ADVANCE YOUR GAME
BUILD YOUR PERSONAL & TEAM PLAYING POWER
Players are selected to participate in our Elite training groups term-by-term. These Elite group training sessions provide an environment to teach advanced skills and team concepts to players who have already mastered the intermediate fundamentals and concepts required to advance their game to the next level.
Our Elite and College Pathway Programs comprise the best players from our Academy and North Coast Basketball programs held along the coast.
These Elite players train in groups within their nominated region.

How is this different?
-
Elite Programs and College Pathways are by invitation only. They follow a player identification and selection process through our other NCB programs, such as Rise and Grind, Academy and ID Camps.
Find out more about our other NCB programs here. -
Rather than signing up to a particular location program, selected players will train together within their allotted region.
Hastings - Forster, Taree, Port Macquarie, Kempsey
Ranges - Macksville, Nambucca Heads, Coffs Harbour, Woolgoolga
Rivers - Grafton, Yamba, Ballina, Lismore, Byron, Tweed Heads
The best 16 players from each region, (two teams of 8 per age group) will play against the other regions to compete for a place in the North Coast Allstars team. A team of 10 per age group will represent North Coast Basketball at interstate and regional tournaments.
Training times for each region are available within each location's weekly training schedule. -
Our coaches will create close relationships with our Elite Squad members and work with players to help them achieve their basketball goals.
-
Players who have what it takes to play overseas will be selected for our ‘College Pathways’ program, which focuses on helping players obtain basketball scholarships to attend Universities in America and Canada after High School.
-
Our annual NCB USA Exposure Tour allows players to demonstrate their skill sets in front of College Coaches while touring various regions of the United States.
-
Younger players and those not participating in tours will have the opportunity to be selected amongst the top 16 players from each region to play in the NBC All-Stars team and compete at interstate tournaments.

HOW IT WORKS
Once selected, purchase your Elite Squad Training Pass from our shop by choosing your location and then the “Elite” Program.
Show up to your nominated weekly training session with your water bottle, basketball, and wearing your reversible NCB training jersey*
Regions will meet four times a year for a round-robin tournament, during which players compete in 3x3 and 5x5 games, demonstrating their learning.
Coaches will select the top players from each age group to be NCB All-Stars and travel to Australia's best interstate tournaments.
*NCB Uniforms can be purchased from our NCB Store.

GOT QUESTIONS?
-
No, North Coast Basketball is an independent company that focuses on providing alternative pathways for players to progress their basketball in regional NSW.
-
Absolutely, our goal is to create more basketball on the days there is none. We want to see players achieve their goals and access development pathways outside of our programs. NCB runs development programs on days that do not conflict with BNSW associations.
-
Yes, we offer family pricing for families with three or more children. All you need to do is email us with the names of your children and the program you wish to enrol them in, and we can make the arrangements.
-
Sure do. Understand that things add up when signing up for everything, so we always try to offer packages for individuals wishing to attend multiple activities. Check our shop page for our latest deals.
-
NCB is based out of Coffs Harbour, NSW, where we run weekly programs. Our coaches run pop-up sessions outside of Coffs Harbour and travel to towns such as:
Ballina
Byron Bay
Lismore
Port Macquarie
Taree
Yamba
