Hi, I’m Merinda Rhodes!
I played basketball for the Grafton City Vikings under the late Bruce Leonard. There, I developed a love for the game and working hard and fighting alongside my teammates. I’ve been coaching teams on and off since I was about 16. I love teaching kids on-court skills, but even more, I love helping them learn skills and values that they take through life. Having played and coached in Basketball NSW programs, I know what it takes to compete at that level, and I’m passionate about giving kids on the North Coast every opportunity to be as elite as possible. These days, I love to combine my Physiotherapy knowledge and my Rehabilitation background to bring a well-rounded approach to basketball and performance.

My favourite way to train? Train intentionally. Everything you do, you should do with intention and purpose. Don’t settle for anything less.
What’s one interesting fact about you that most people don’t know? I used to have a full head of dreadlocks.
